Introduction
The
National Aquaculture Development Authority of Sri Lanka together
with Lanka Exhibitions and Conference Services (pvt) Ltd will
be organizing the first ever “Aqua Asia 2007” exhibition.
This will be held from the 11th to 14th October 2007 at the Sirimavo
Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre. It will create a wonderful
opportunity for producers, importers, buyers, new players and
other related parties in the ornamental aquatic industry to explore
business opportunities. This will also bring together leading
local and international players in the ornamental fish, aquatic
plants and accessories industries to display their latest products
to a wide cross section of international buyers.
“Aqua Asia” will unquestioningly be among the top
most events for those engaged in the Sri Lankan ornamental fish
and aquatic plant industry. Many heavy weights of this industry
too will be exhibiting either directly or via their Asian partners,
promising to make this exhibition a comprehensive and colourful
one incorporating all new developments in the industry.
This will also incorporate a concurrent event- Aqua Asia Fish
Competition, a show to attract breeders of the best quality fish
under different categories.
